Engineered wood flooring is a great alternative to a solid wood floor. Planks are built up of timber layers and finished with a solid wood veneer, giving the look and feel of a solid board but in a more cost effective way. The construction of the boards offer stability, durability and more resistance to changes in humidity which means it’s less likely to move when our homes are heated and cooled.
